Tess Davis, LCSW

I entered the mental health field driven by my own healing journey and the powerful impact of the therapists and tools that guided me through trauma recovery. Inspired by my experience, I now use a combination of holistic and evidence-based practices—such as EMDR, Parts Work, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), yoga, nature, and creativity—to help others find acceptance, courage, and even joy after trauma, grief, and pain. Today, my focus has evolved to support individuals navigating perinatal mental health challenges. Having personally experienced pregnancy loss, complications during labor and birth, a NICU stay, postpartum anxiety, and the profound transformation of becoming a mother, I understand how overwhelming this journey can be. My work is designed to help you feel less alone, release the need for control, embrace trust, transform perfectionism into self-compassion, and welcome joy amidst fear and shame. In therapy with me, you can expect a compassionate, non-pathologizing, and empowering approach that is solution-focused, experiential, and deeply personal. Together, we will nurture and mother ourselves—and, when needed, our littles—as we explore, grow, and heal.
